Fattoria Poggiopiano, Chianti Classico (2018) 750ml

Classic and traditional style of Chianti Classico. Aging in massive 250 hectoliter barrels. We are pretty sure they don’t have cell phones at this estate. Wine is muscular and structured well boasting aroma of dried cherry, casis, mint and forest floor. Mouthfeel is silky and elegant yet incredibly gripping. This wine should hang out with a flank steak or some other fatty cut of meat.
