The Carato Riserva is produced with the best selections of Merlot grapes from strains over 40 years old. The grapes are grown in the vineyards of the Locarnese hills, where they benefit from the best sunshine during the day, and the fresh night breeze, the grapes enjoy the best conditions for perfect ripeness. The Carato Riserva rests for about two years in new French oak barriques, named in the Italian language «Carati». A wine of great structure that fully reflects the Terroir that generated it, with an intense and spicy character of great aromatic finesse and elegance.
